Mechanical Anchoring
Mechanical anchors are used in concrete, brick
and block. They are fasteners used in solid base
material that change their shape once installed in
the hole and derive their holding values by way
of friction. We provide the coring / drilling for the
installation of the anchors and also the
installation of all kinds of anchors.
Chemical Anchoring
We also have several personnel trained to
install Hilti brand adhesive / chemical anchors.
Adhesive anchoring is sometimes required by
engineering specifications due to the strength
of the epoxy adhesives. Embedments (rebar,
threaded rods, and posts…) can achieve “pull-
out” strengths greater than the concrete itself.
These adhesives can also be used to fill cuts
and holes in concrete to give structural
concrete more strength.

Process
Anchoring to concrete can be a difficult process.
Anchoring to concrete can be completed mechanically
and chemically. Your anchor load and your application
will determine the type of anchor you will use.
As Hilti certified anchor installers, we can help identify
the appropriate anchoring system for your project. If
you are an engineer working with a client and need to
team with us to provide a solution to your anchoring
problem, we can work directly with Hilti to ensure your
specifications are met.
Although it is important to use the correct anchoring
system, it is even more important to install it correctly.
Improper or poor installation can result in failure of the
anchoring system. Manufacturer's responsibility for
their anchoring system is lost if it is not installed by a
certified installer per their specifications.
Right Anchor System
Your anchoring system must be selected prior to
creating the hole for the anchor. This may seem
elementary but we have had this happen many
times and have been forced to make some changes
to the existing holes and the anchoring systems in
order to meet manufacturer specs. Usually you only
get one shot to effectively anchor to concrete. Once
you have drilled the hole, your opportunity to
correct any mistakes has been lost. Get us involved
early.
Any Project Size
Jobs can be small with one anchor or large with
several hundred. We can install anchors for stadium
seats or mounting studs for cell towers. Epoxy
anchoring, chemical adhesive anchoring, drop-in
anchors, post style anchors, threaded inserts, all
thread, rebar, pins, threaded rod, RE500, epoxy
coated bar.
